....

I am SO bored!!! So extremely bored at work. Right now we are a little overstaffed, and dont have any work, orders are slowly streaming through. I've tried to do as much as I can... but right now there is NOTHING in there to work on. So ... I'm looking busy ha-ha. I would post other things... but I dont want to get caught at work blogging. Once I get pictures from Jen and Blair, I will gladly post the wedding and describe how amazing and beautiful it was! Because truely, my family (everyone) did a great job!

Anyways.... So far that will be it for today. Sorry its so boring!

I'm so behind on blogging!

Wow I am totally behind on blogging and pictures, and everything!!!! Sorry everyone! And for some reason, my blog is being weird. When I post my pictures, it comes up as link or something... which is frustrating. and my thingy... dunno what it is called, but I don't have the buttons to change gong or colors :'( sad!!!
I've just been busy, and well just haven't really been online in a long while. Which I'm surprised I haven't gone insane yet. I love ready every one's blogs (I sound creepy) and posting blogs.

Well, we are finally moved into the house and actually have pictures all up and things (mostly) put away. Feels good to be settled in!!! Its surprising how all the little things you need, really add up. Like soap for two more bathrooms. light bulbs (lots of light bulbs!) But its soo nice to be settled in and comfortable. And we get free Internet and cable! That's always nice!

Julie and Lee came down yesterday, and brought a Christmas tree my Mom has been dying to get to me. We were going to buy a tree several weeks ago, but we realized that we spent a bit more than we planned, so we decided we'd just wait till after Christmas to get one. My mom got a tree, that's normally a $350 or so tree couple years ago after Christmas, for only $39 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a beautiful tree. Anyways, she was excited to find out that we we're going to buy one right away, and wanted to give us her old one. Her old one is pretty nice too, but one section is out, and she was never able to figure out why that little section never works.

Jeff was wonderfully nice and gave me some money to buy lights and bulbs for the tree! I got to decorate it all by myself, and I feel proud of myself! I've never decorated a tree before. I think its lovely. My phone doesn't take the best pictures. And I cant find my cord to my charger for my camera.... its in a box somewhere.

Okay so if you haven't heard the news yet, Jeff and I are finally getting married. I believe everyone that reads my blogs, know by now. ( I hope. I've been behind on things). Its a week away! I'm so excited too. My Uncle Kerry is going to be marring us. I'm so glad he was able to get things done so he can. My Aunts are so amazing. The other day, my aunt Nancy called me just to say that she loved me and congrats. Made me feel good! My aunt Leslie, she's helped me out with my wedding dress and bouquet, which will be a pleasant surprise for everyone, I'm actually pretty excited about that. and I think, my really great best friend, Kari, will be doing my hair (maybe ... I hope so cuz she is just the bestest!) Julie and Lee have been such great support as well. I really appreciate their help in this. Julie's in charge of the cake. And Jen has been amazing help with the announcements. There was some big mis-communication on the announcements, but o well, cant do too much about them, and I'm not gonna worry about it because, I really am not worried about it! As long as I get married, that's all that matters. Jeff's family has been so amazing to me. I appreciate family during these times. They really do jump in and do EVERYTHING they can. I feel loved and really appreciate everything.

We decided to do the reception in the spring time, but I want to make this a little memorable. Its not going to be fancy, and its basically only the ceremony. But I'm so glad to have family there. Hopefully Jeff wont get too overwhelmed. I've been doing my best to try not let him know too much about anything. So... if you love Jeff as much as I do... Please don't mention anything to him... if that makes sense. He doesn't know that we are having a cake, nor does he know that there's going to be a dinner afterwards. But I want the dinner to be relaxed. Its not a wedding dinner, mainly a family dinner.

If you understand Jeff, you'll know why I am trying to keep most of this all hush hush. I sound like a horrible person keeping most of this info from him.... and some days, I've kinda lied to him. But honestly, its the best thing.. because he'd freak out. ha ha poor thing, just too much stress for him, so I don't even mention things around him. And here I am blogging about it. Oh well, its a good place to get everything out. I'm thinking of getting him a better ring too, the one that he has, really doesn't fit him at all! too thick, and he doesn't like wearing it. I want him to be comfortable wearing the ring and to actually like it. I've got an idea what he likes. Sadly, I may not get it for him till after the wedding, but I might be able to get it before. I've found a few at a reasonable price, and they are the tungsten-titanium rings.

Okay, I've probably blabbered enough for now. One of these days, I'll get pictures up of our house! Jeff got some good ones on his phone. Oh boy I'm tired. I love ya'll and hope your doing good! K gotta go!

Warmth is Good!

Well we had another fun thing happen to us Monday after work. We got home and noticed our gas was shut off. OOps! Cailey and Jeff forgot to switch our utilities to the new address. They said it would cost about $100 to have someone sent out that night to turn back on the Gas! We decided that we would wait till next day to have it turned back on. Yeah the house got down to 49 degrees :( was pretty dang cold.

We got home after work, and still had issues trying to get it turned back on. Find out that they just "unlock" the gas but they don't actually turn it back on for "safety reasons". Which just made this suck and took the place FOREVER to finally get all nice and warm. But I have to say, that I am ever so grateful that we have a nice warm house to be in, and grateful that the gas works, so I can even cook and use the stove! I am also excited to have the fridge this Saturday and the washer and dryer on next Wed!!!

*Jeff did an amazing Job yesterday cleaning up the house, I got home and it looked so nice! It actually felt like home! He's so sweet and kind to me. I love him so much.*

Oh and PS
We met several neighbors so far, and we really like the place so far! Everyone is so nice to us. I just cant wait this sunday to go to our new ward! Just seems so exciting, like a whole new leaf for me and Jeff. New start on life. It really is exciting and I'm very happy :o)

Okay sorry everyone, I've been just busy and unable to post anything, but I'm finally giving an update. I believe last Saturday, Jeff and I bought a fridge, washer and dryer, and we now have all new appliances! Wahoo! After signing for the house and giving over the check for the down payment (which was a LOT of money), I almost felt like we should be stinking broke! All exciting though. Kinda funny story, after we got done signing, the Lady who was having us sign all the papers at the title company, asked us if we wanted Champagne. Jeff and I didn't know what to say, and Jeff just blurted out, "Um, we both have to drive home".

Ha ha, turns out that they give you a bottle of either champagne or sparkling cider after you sign with them. kinda felt awkward walking out with that bottle. Another neat thing, is that our broker and agent had a truck for us to use to help us move! They have a moving truck for anyone who buys' or sells a house with them! That was very nice, sooo much better than renting one at Uhal and stressing about getting everything done all at once! they are letting us use it for a week!

Well We got the keys to the house Tuesday, and poor Jeff moved most of Wednesday all by himself for most of the day. He got to a point where he just felt like he couldn't do anything else, and got really overwhelmed. I feel pretty bad about it, I was stuck at work and was not able to help him till after work. He didn't even want to move the couches, so we decided that we would do that on Saturday.

While we were moving stuff into the new house, we found out that they Winterized the house. Which really sucked for us because we didn't have any water to go to the bathroom or any water to actually drink, so Jeff and our good friend Adam decided to go grab some drinks from the gas station. While I was packing things into the house, the upstairs smoke detector was going off, and I knew it would drive me nuts. Only problem is that the celling is Very High, and we would need a ladder to actually fix it.
Knowing that Jeff would never ask a neighbor for help, and knowing that we probably wouldn't get to it for several days, I decided to take matters in my own hands. I went over to our next door neighbors, Nancy and Steve. We had met her earlier, she was just coming home and she introduced herself and she was very friendly. She had her husband grab their ladder and we went over there and he had to disconnect it from the wall. Oddly enough it was still going off even without being plugged into the wall. Come to find out there was also a battery in there, and was dying. So nicely enough the neighbors got a battery and was able to connect it back to the wall. Before we got done, Jeff got home and was confused as to why I asked them over. ha - ha sorry Jeff! I just know you too well and know that we'd never get around to doing it and would drive me nuts.

Well we had unpacked some things and I had called the people who winterized our house to see if the can turn on the water or if we needed someone to come out and do it or if we could just do it ourselves. Lady said that it would cost between $75-100 for someone to just come out and help us! She did explain it would be easy for us to do as long as we had no major leaks. Jeff and I just weren't sure how to do it and well, we weren't able to lift the main top and weren't sure if we would get into trouble doing it ourselves, so we contacted our Agent and he said he would have someone over in the morning. Thank you Doug!
Only thing is, we had to go back to the apartments to spend the night over there, since there was no plumbing available at the house. Was not extremely comfortable for us though, we slept on a foam topper, which didn't do much to make the floor comfortable. And we had stayed up late with me cooking and prepping food for thanksgiving. So we were pretty tired the next morning.

Gratefully the guy came over was able to get our water turned on Yay working water is good! Thursday I hurried up an grabbed the food I made the night before, and we rushed over to my Dad's place. My food was a pretty big hit and I'm pretty proud of it now. I agree with Jeff probably shouldn't have cooked so much food, but it turned out to be just fine.

Well enough of me blabbering on, but Hopefully I can get the rest of our stuff bagged and over to the house. We've gotten to that point where you dont organize your packing and just throw everything in bags an boxes and just try to have everything over and done with. Jeff is more excited about the unpacking and decorating. He's always loved that.

Packing is NO fun at all!

Needless to say.... I think thats all I'm going to say... I could blabber on and on... and not pack (which I'm supposed to be packing, and havent been for the past hour... and what do I do? Get on the computer!) Yay for distractions... real bad for me.
*SIGHS*!!! k fine, I'll go and get more boxes and stuff them with stuff. bleh!

Good Appraisal :o)

I just cant wait till this is all done and over with! We got the appraisal at $206! I'm SO glad its not less than what we offered. And in the report, they said that if the basement is finished, it would be appraised at $229,435! No joke!!! and compared 3 other homes in the area, ours seemed to be the best! Makes me so happy!!!

We've sent in almost all the stuff they require, such as the copies of the cashed escrow, gift letter and explanations of funds and stuff. crazy all the stuff they need. What I'm really hoping is that we can close sooner than the closing date, which is the 25Th, but our broker said there's a real good chance that we can get this done sooner. I get more and more excited every time someone asks, so when do you move in? Hopefully soon! :)

Sorry this is so short but don't really have too much new news or anything. Hopefully I can get some pictures of the place so everyone can see them. Might not be till our final walk through or when we move in. *sighs* so exciting yet so frustrating.

We Made An Offer, They Accepted, We Have the House! :)

HOLY COW! so happy and excited! cant believe it! We put in an offer for a place on Tuesday, and they accepted our offer today. We just got back from our broker, just signing contracts and all that Jazz. A ton of signing! I really like the place though and very excited about this. Now cross our fingers that nothing will interfere this time!

So there are not any pictures of this place, sadly... but I might be able to get some sometime soon up here for everyone :D It is 2469 sq. ft. , 3 bedrooms, 2 bath upstairs, main floor is the amazing kitchen and amazing living room with a half bath, and downstairs is not finished, but its perfect for us!!!!! No, there is no yard at all, like maybe that patch of yard in the front, and a skinny... tiny strip in the back and then the fence. so pretty much we don't hardly have any yard. Sadly, no small gardens, but all well. We close Nov. 25Th! So I will try to keep everyone updated with pictures once I am able to. So extremely happy!
Even though this is a TownHouse, its been the best house we've seen from all the houses we've been looking at, and its newer.

To get one or not... that is the question

Okay, last night, Jeff and I went to the fair with Mike and Brian. Was loads of fun. Then, I was introduced to the Sugar Gliders!!! I WANT ONE!!! Ever so badly. Jeff didn't oppose on me buying one, all he said is, its your money and its up to you, I am not going to help you make the decision. I hate when he does that, cuz... well I am terrible making decisions for myself. Anyways these little guys are super cute and adorable. They are $150 each, and they offered a deal where I get the cage, some food, toys, bonding pouch, sleeping pouch and few other things for $400. Jeff thinks we can find a cage much cheaper than that, and save bunch of money. I've done a bunch of research and reading about them and the care, and maintenance of the creatures. But... I really don't know if I really should buy one. I am an impulsive buyer. I'll jump at things that I think are a great deal and later find that it wasn't that great or... I think I'll love it and use it all the time..., and I really don't.
So if you think about it, getting a dog is fun because they are cute sweet and lovable. . they live between 10-15 years, depending on the dog. Some dogs prices can range from free, or if you want a pure breed, it ranges from (lowest I've seen probably could do better) $300-$1450 for just a puppy. But with dogs you have to get their shots, which costs as low as (from what I've googled)$100 or more, and there are a few different kinds of shots that they will need to get vaccinated for. You do need to train them, and that can take a while but they are an overall great pet!!! Feeding them is easy, and great companions!
Okay with Sugar Gliders, they can live between 10-12 years, about the same as of a dog. You don't have to get them shots or anything, and they clean themselves. They are pretty clean pet, and they don't stink as long as you feed them properly (giving them veg one day, and fruits the next. Not mixed that's when they start to stink) they require a lot of bonding time, but that's mostly when you put them in the bonding bag and have them next to your body, so they smell you they hear you, so when you take them out of the bag they get to know you. You can even take it to work with you and it will be just fine in its little bonding pouch its in!!! I've read a lot of different sites about these guys... and ... I think I can handle these little guys and love them. But... I'm not sure if I really should do this. I may have to buy two of them, for companionship... but I've read as long as I give it lots of attention and love, that it can be just fine by itself. If your interested to learn a little about them, this is a good site. www.sugarglider.com/archives/ruth/
I read a bit more that I didn't know, most of it that I already knew after reading a paper that the store owners gave me.

I don't know guys!!! I can see ups and downs of owning one. Personally I think I'll enjoy love owning one. But I don't know. They don't seem that high maintenance... well at least for me. Please give me some opinions and in site. I'm going to call later to check out more info about these guys.

Refreshing

Last night Jeff and I met up with our new real estate agent and his broker. I have to say... it was a great experince!!!! No offense to our last agent, but I feel soo much more comfortable with our new agent, and broker! Our previous Broker, pretty much we hardly spoke to him. One of our visits with him, he was on the phone for 45 mins before he spoke with us, then we only spoke with him for maybe like 5 mins then left. So crazy enough I wanted to blog about this just because our overall experience was amazing! I'm actually excited to go look for houses and confident our agent is going to do all he can to find us an amazing deal on a house. He actually mentioned to check out some homes in Lehi. We looked them up after our meeting with them and the first house that we found, was this:

K and if you look at these pictures, wow!!! http://www.utahrealestate.com/reports/photo/index.wfr?types=&find_listno=886902&ptype=p_res

I have to say.. I am in love with this house. Not saying this is the one... but holy cow! I think it would be soo nice to have a house like this. and actually in our price range. We want to stick to homes between $170-$190, but this is still within our price too.
Here is another one:

This one is pretty nice too. But anyways who knows where we will be. Today Jeff and I will be driving down to Lehi after work to see just how bad the commute will really be... hopefully not too horrible. That is probably the only reason we arent sure if we would want to live in Lehi.... but I want to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we will see!!! I'll try to keep everyone updated. I'm super happy and excited.
